Visit Slovenia: this year's upcoming fellowship saw a record number of applications by foreign publishers

Between 21st and 24th November the Slovenian Book Agency is organizing a fellowship programme for foreign editors and publishers with a focus on Slovenian children's and YA literature. This year we received a record number of applications from all around the world: 54 applications from 22 countries.

Unfortunately, we could not invite everyone to the 2018 edition, but you are invited to apply again for the next fellowship.

In the frame of the programme the publishers will meet Slovenian publishers of children’s and YA literature at the Slovenian Book Fair in the capital Ljubljana (21.-25. November), visit the city of Celje, hometown of the world traveller and author from the early 20^th century Alma Karlin, visit the atelier of the renown Slovenian author and illustrator Lila Prap as well as the fairy tale Predjama castle and Postojna cave in the enchanting Karst (limestone region of Slovenia).
